For tenants or applicants for our rental properties, we use your data to properly relate to you in different stages from the viewing, application process up to signing of the tenancy agreement and bond lodgement form (if you are a successful applicant). For applicants to our rental properties, we only gather information required to deal with you under the guidance of the Office of the Privacy Commissioner. We may send you updated information, communicate with you about our services, and let you know about updates to our policies, notices or terms. We may also use your Personal Data when communicating with you to support you and manage our relationship with you.
Research and report
We may use your Personal Data to provide aggregated BUT anonymised reports, analytics and research which we may share publicly or with third parties.

In certain circumstances we will share the Personal Data:

For example when prospective tenants apply and provide information into a third party system, the information held there is encrypted and may only be accessed by the property manager concerned and the tenant/applicant. Information which is not required (e.g. an applicant who was not successful in renting a property applied for) is archived and/or regularly deleted. We are allowed by law and reserve the right to charge to supply you the information we hold about you.
Credit Bureaus and Credit Reports
Applicants for rental properties who want to know about their credit histories may go directly to the credit bureaus and ask them about their credit scores/histories.
